Brushes are an important part of makeup tools. They are designed specifically according to type of purpose they have. Todayyou can find more than 30 types of brushes application. However here are the basic ones you must have in your kit.

  🌺 Foundation Brush

There are two types of foundation brushes.

These brushes are used to apply foundation and concealer. These are mostly flat but hair have a round shape. However fuller brushes are also used but with a flat edge to apply foundation smoothly all over the face.

🌺 Powder Brush

It is the most fuller brush in the kit and also my favorite. The hair is of the same length to concentrate lots of product on the brush. It is used to apply blush and blend it.

🌺 Blusher Brush



Blusher brush is baby of the powder brush and is used to blend the already applied blush or contour powder.
🌺 Contour Brush

Again two types of contour brushes. These brushes are a bit smaller than blusher brush and are used to contour the cheekbones and sides of forehead.

🌺 Eyeshadow Brushes

Eyeshadow brush is used for the application of shades on the eyes. It is rounded and it can fit smoothly in the fold of the eye. The hair are smooth and designed to take plenty of eye shadow.

🌺 Eyeshadow Blending Brush

It is basically used to blend in all the shadows to avoid any harsh lines on the eyes. Blending is the key for a smooth makeup afterall.

🌺 Eyeliner Brush

It is comparatively very small and is used to apply eyeliner and gel liner on the eyes. It can be slanted as well. You can also use to fill in the eyebrows with this brush.

🌺 Highlighting Brush

It is the bigger version of the eyeshadow applicator brush and has a rounder shape. Its basic purpose if to be used as a highlighter to enhance certain features of the face.
