DIY: Simple Deep Cleansing Mask πŸŒ·

Hello everyone! Time for a quick Do-It-Yourself (DIY) facial mask!⏰


I think you’re all pretty aware of the immense importance of deep cleansing for general skin health. Β Deep cleansing, as the name suggests, helps to get down deep into the pores removing traces of makeup, dirt and oil. Cleansing the skin is one of the most important steps because it removes anything that can block another product from being effective to its full strength.

A good skincare routine is cleansing, yet it is one that many people tend to forget. Today, I’m going to write about a very simple home-made mask that isn’t going to take much time, has the most easily available ingredients & is super effective as well. Simple ingredients & effective results, sounds good, right? This oatmeal and yogurt face mask is suitable for all skin types and is a very effective natural skin cleanser, facial scrub, and a soothing facial mask.Β So here it goes! πŸ’•

♦️ Things that are required:

  • Oatmeal (1 tbsp)
  • Honey (1 tsp)
  • Yogurt (2 tbsp)

♦️ How to make this mask?

Now you have all the ingredients, next steps are easy. No grinding is required, you just have to mix up all the ingredients together using a spoon. Apply this mask for 20 minutes preferably before bed & then wash it off using lukewarm water. Apply this mask twice a week for a healthy, glowing and clear skin.

♦️ Importance of the ingredients being used in this mask:

  • Oatmeal contains 18 different amino acids and has hypo-allergenic properties that help heal blemishes, rashes, allergies and repair damaged skin. Oatmeal can absorb and remove skin impurities while providing very gentle exfoliation, leaving skin smooth, soft, and clean with a healthy glow.

  • Yogurt is also effective at cleansing and disinfecting pores, preventing acne, moisturizing the skin and revitalizing its texture. Yogurt’s antibacterial and antifungal properties make it a useful, de-germing cleanser treating skin conditions such as acne and eczema, and its lactic-acid content soothes irritation, clarifies the pores and softens the skin.

  • Honey isΒ naturally antibacterial, so it’s great for acne treatment and prevention. It is full of antioxidants that are helpful for slowing down aging. It is extremely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps create a glow.
